INCEPTION!!! (and thinspo)

Thank you astridwillbe50 for joining my blog
You're in a place of no judgement. =)

I'm currently watching Inception on HBO. It's my favorite movie and I'm very disappointed that HBO is playing it in fullscreen. If any of you are movie screen ratio savvy then you know that movie theater screen are very rectangular, and 75 mm film is formatted to make the picture look very wide, so that landscapes look humungous. TV screen are more square, so when movies air on television, they either air in widescreen (hence the thick black lines on the top and bottom of your tv screen) or in full screen, which means the edges of the film are cut off to make the picture small enough. It's just not the same. =/
But anyway I love Inception and Christopher Nolan and the score by Hans Zimmer and the story and the acting and the 4 Oscars the film won and everything about it! He was possessed with some radical notions...

I started work again today back at the movie theater. They put me on reg (concessions). It was an 8 hour day but I was glad to be back, and 3 of my co-workers commented on my weight loss! So anyway I had no time to eat and didn't eat much when I got back home. I only had a cup of coffee in the morning (10 cal), and when I got home I had an oatmeal raisin cookie (170 cal), a few bites of bread (75 cal), 1/4 of an apple danish (80 cal), and a home made soft taco (255 cal) for a total of 590 calories, which is 60 calories under my limit for the SGD!

FINALLY!

I finally stayed under my calories limits. Holy crap does it feel good, and today I weighed 122.25 to boot, .75 lbs under yesterday. I think I'm getting on the right track.

Ok and I actually took the after pics for the Pictures Page so check it out if you want.

Alright not much else to say for today. Got some thinspo though. :D

Night lovelies.

P.S. Now I'm watching Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. This day is just getting better.

Finally I get some time to myself.

So at this very moment, right now, is probably the last time for another, oh, 70 or so hours that I'll have time to breathe. But before I go into that I want to respond to some comments.

Ariana - Yeah I know what you mean about the digital scales. I also heard not to use them on carpet? I just don't trust them, so I use scales with a needle or sliding scales. Like those ancient ones where you stand on it and move the little weights yourself.

Olivia - Oh man really? I know all the transfers who live on campus are put into Porter, but if you're thinking about somewhere off campus there are some awesome houses at the base of the university near the entrance. I don't know much else about off campus housing though. As for being in town, I know some friends of mine who are always down for partying. We'll need some stress relief from finals. haha

Thin_Envy - Can I tell you a secret? I have no idea how I'm motivation for you because for the past few months I've been trying so hard to catch up with you weight-wise. I know my UGW right now is 112, but I can't imagine how 110 would look on me. I've never been that small, so if you're ever having a "fat day" come to me and I'll tell you how silly and thin you are! Because you're one of the girls who keeps me most motivated!

Ok, so this weekend. Here's the sitch:

Sunday

So basically I'm dead. By Sunday afternoon I'll be running on empty.

Food:
Yesterday I totaled in at 620 calories. I won't bore you with the food. I burned 650 calories that day so my net total was -30 calories. Not terrible, especially since I weighed in at 120.5.
Today was soooooo much better. I had one actual meal and one snack-like meal later in the day. Earlier I ate 1/2 penne pasta with meat sauce and parmesan (155 cal), 4 thick cut french fries (40 cal), and 4 oz of chicken ortega soup (150 cal). Later I just had some frozen yogurt (75 cal), and veggies with ranch (100 cal). So my total comes to 495 calories, and I burned off 700 through dance and the gym so my net intake today was -205 calories. The downside: I weighed in at 121.5 lbs, which of course only pushed me harder to burn more calories on the elliptical. I did weigh myself at 9 pm, so I'm sure my weigh in tomorrow morning will be much more accurate.

I know this post is already looooooooooooong, but I want to talk quickly about my birthday. It's coming up in early June and I know what I want to do. Have I talked about this? Well if I have I'm mentioning it again. The local theater plays previously released (usually cult or classic) movies every weekend at midnight. The movie they're playing 2 days before my birthday? Mean Girls!!! Only one of my most favorite movies ever! My mom took me out of school early the day it premiered (I was in 6th grade) so we could see it together. I've seen it over 40 times and know all the dialogue! I'm so excited for this, it's really one of the best ways to celebrate my birthday. And there's this really cool burger place downtown that everyone but me has been to, so I want to go. Hopefully I'll be at least 118 lbs, so I may allow myself an indulgence. This burger place is known for their unique burgers. A patty in between two grilled cheese sandwiches anyone? How about one surrounded by two glazed doughnuts? One topped with macaroni and tomato? I'm really looking forward to this.

Hot damn, enough about me. I congratulate you if you've read this far. Your reward:

I guess I'm feeling a little leggy today.

On such a high right now/Reached goal weight #4

I'm so jittery right now. I haven't kept still since 7 pm. Dance class was great, my teacher once again told me ow awesome I was, but this time I knew it was from consistently being the only person to attend 4 of her dance classes a week. I just really love to dance! So anyway after getting out of the dance studio at 8:30 I decided to go to the gym (I slept in this morning so I didn't go at 8 am like I wanted, but oh well) to burn off all of the calories I ate (it was kind of a lot...). In 45 minutes I burned 560 calories. Da-amn. I took a caffeine pill before dance, and it started to kick in around 8ish and combined with the adrenaline from the elliptical...well I don't think I'll be going to sleep any time soon.

Well food was disappointing. The only plus is that I burned it all off.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Duh, the title of my post says "Reached goal weight #4." I'm back down to 125! Yesssss, so happy. =D

So anyway back to food. I managed to keep anything besides water away from my mouth until 11:30 when I got a dinner roll before my game design class. That was 145 calories. The after class, after I drank 24 oz of water and that roll, I decided to eat again with Aaron and some friends. I ended up shoving another 3/4 of a roll (105 cal), some frozen yogurt (65 cal), a corn dog (soooo unhealthy, but sooooo good, 180 cal), and some fries (180 cal) into my mouth. And when I got back to my room I had 8 redvines (225 cal). That's 900 calories. Yuck. But yours truly burned off 910 calories with dance and cardio, putting me at a total of -10 for the day, hence the 125 lbs.

I'm really hoping that tomorrow when I will definitely go to the gym at 11 am after my Lit class that I'll weight even less, because they say it's always better to weight yourself in the morning rather than at night after the food you've eaten all day has been sitting in your stomach.

!0 Day Diet day 2 went smoothly. As you can guess I went over 500 calories today (10 pts), but got in 2 hrs. and 15 min. of exercise (20 pts). I also drank a little over 2 liters of water (20 pts) and got over 8 hours of sleep last night (20 pts). Total points for Day 2: 70.

Non-food related, Aaron left for home today. =(  He's helping his dad move to a different house so he'll be gone until Monday. Six days of me being alone...well not really, I'm surrounded by friends but I still won't get to see him. I'll probably get more homework done though...

Well anyway, that's all the exciting news I have. With the way things are going I'll be posting more thinspo really soon! Stay tuned. =)

Finals Week is Right Around the Corner

So for some reason I'm super excited about finals week. I'm done with one of my classes so all I have to worry about now is finishing up my essay (which I will totally get straight to work on after this post), studying for my film final, doing my philosophy homework, and taking my philosophy final (not much of a need to study because I could get a C on it and still pass the class with an A). Plus I have some articles to read and movies to watch, but the weekend has a whole 48 hours in it. After next week there's spring break and I get to go home and see my family, and then Spring Quarter!

Olivia: No I don't go to a music school. I once wanted to apply to Juilliard until I found out I wanted to make films for the rest of my life, not music. I go to a UC, which is a California University. There's something like 9 or 10 different ones like UC Irvine or UC Berkeley or UC San Diego.

Food was right on track today. I skipped breakfast and had lunch around noon. I had a medium salad with minimal ranch dressing (95 cal), 1/2 of a bagel with butter (90 cal), and a couple spoonfuls of coconut/chocolate frozen yogurt (30 cal) for a total of 215 calories. For dinner I had 6 oz. of tomato, potato, and basil soup (120 cal) and 3/4 of a small fish patty (for slider sandwiches; 55 cal) for a total of 175 calories and a grand total of 390 calories for the day, 10 under my goal. =)

I'm really excited to see how I progress through the SGD. I literally cannot wait to hit the 127.5 lb mark. It's the maximum weight for my height (5'0") to be in the "normal" BMI range of 18.5-24.9, and at that weight I'm right at 24.9. I can't remember the last time I was in the 120's, probably sometime in my sophomore year of high school. What's crazy is that even though I weighed so much less when I was a freshman (I was at my lowest = 118 lbs), I feel like I look thinner now (or maybe just more proportional, although still chunky). Aaron agrees with me. It might be the muscle I have now from the years in dance or just weight distribution. I don't even know, but I'm a little anxious to see what I'm going to look like once I hit that weight again.

Haha sorry for the little weight ramble, I'm just a tad over ecited for the months to come.

P.S.-I'll be sure to put up more thinspo soon!

Bad day...then extremely good day!

To be honest I'm kind of pissed at myself right now...but also really happy. Is that weird?

I went over on my allotted calories for the day by thismuch. I had a decent lunch, went to the gym, and ok dinner and then...1/2 of a hot dog when I went to late night with my friends. That hot dog fucked me up. I thought I had burned enough calories to be safe but I was wrong. Lunch was most of a fish slider with 1/2 tbsp of tartar sauce (200 cal), 3 bites of cooked green beans (15 cal), 3/4 of a cup of plain tuna with 4 saltine crackers (130 cal), 1 orange (60 cal), and 15 small french fries (90 cal) for a total of 495 calories. I then went to the gym and burned off 770 calories and had dinner around five-ish. I had a half cup of zucchini (20 cal), 1 oz of turkey no skin (40 cal), five pieces of California roll with soy sauce and ginger (115 cal), 1/2 cup of mashed sweet potatoes (75 cal) a few bites of "dessert pizza" (50 cal), a piece of chocolate (45 cal) and a super tiny piece of apple pie (185 cal). Then count in that damn half a hot dog for 75 calories and you get for a total of 605 calories. Add in gym and it comes to a grand total of 330 calories. Damn. I really wanted to be at or under today's goal. It just means I'll have to eat 20 calories less tomorrow. It's doable.

But enough about that, I'm really excited for next quarter! I just finalized my spring quarter schedule and it's looking pretty good right now. I'm signed up for a movie music class (that I'm taking with my roommates and my really good friend Liz), a literary interpretation class (that I'm taking with my best friend), a computer game design course (that I'm taking with my boyfriend), a modern dance class (I miss dancing so much), and hopefully I'll get into the university wind ensemble (you have to try out to get in). Did I ever tell you guys I danced and played music? Well if I did I'm gonna say it again. ^_^ I was on my high school's dance team for three years and really loved it. I lived it day to day but I haven't danced in a year since we got done with nationals last April. =/ I also played clarinet from 5th grade to 12th grade and I'm eager to see if I still have my chops.

I'm so excited for the weeks to come! I hope all of you are feeling as great as I am. If not I hope I'm getting my positive energy out there for you all.
