Sorry I didn't post last night. Aaron was over and I also had a project to finish, so between all that and wanting to get enough sleep I couldn't post.
Yesterday I wanted to wait until after dance to eat anything. Yeah, right. I ate probably 3 hours before I weighed in and had 4 chicken nuggets, french fries, and some veggies. Ummmm, can you say unhealthy? But despite that I weighed in at 123.5 lbs. What?! Really? I couldn't believe it. I still can't really believe it. But you wouldn't believe how much sweat I was soaked in afterwards. That dance studio is hot. So I went for a nice swim with Aaron and some friends. I felt accomplished. So I ate. A lot. Pizza, cereal, orange chicken, 3/4 of a burger. Ugggggggggggh. I didn;t even bother figuring out how many calories it all was because I'm positive it was over 1000 total. Great, it'll take a miracle for me not to gain today.
In an attempt to eat as little as possible but still not feel overly hungry I've only had a lemon poppyseed muffin and a cup of orange juice so far. Carbs and fruit juice: I think it's a good combo.
I'm sorry but this post will have to be short for now. I'm currently juggling trying to pay attention in class, Aaron being extremely annoying, writing postcards to send to my relatives for various birthdays/Mother's Day, and writing this. Can I just get a day where I don't have to do anything??? That's not a huge request, right? At least I have a cancelled class tomorrow, but I also have a midterm. Awesome.

10 Day Diet
Sorry for not updating last night. A few of you asked what the 10 Day Diet is.

So basically it's just a point system that takes 10 days to do and promises a loss of up to 5 lbs. I think it'll be fairly easy after 30 days of the SGD. The only challenge I think I'll face is the 64 oz of water a day. I usually only drink 3-5 (gotta work on that...). I'm taking a little break from counting my calories religiously before starting this on Monday.
Yesterday's weigh in wasn't as bad as I thought. I'm basically the same weight as I was a week ago - 126 lbs. I hope this week will yield better results because I'm definitely in a better mindset than last week. My intake last night wasn't terrible. I had only eaten 100 calories of coconut frozen yogurt and burned 550 calories at the gym before going out to eat at a burger place. I just had a regular burger and some fries, probably no more than 700 calories total, so my total came to around 250 calories. Today all I've had is a small turkey sandwich from this place on campus (probably around 500 calories, but that maybe that's a slight overestimation). I think that's all I'll have today. I feel pretty content. No gym though. It's only open until 6 pm on the weekends and I have a lot of homework to do, mainly an essay due on Monday about Benito Cereno by Herman Melville. So gotta get to work! I'll catch up on everyone's blogs real quick beforehand though. Gotta keep my spirits up. =)

Fast #2 & Update

And thanks to those who gave me support during and after my fast. Since I'm planning on not working out this weekend I've decided to do another one that will be broken before I either go to the gym or dance class tomorrow.
So I don't think I kept as good of track over yesterday's intake, but it wasn't enough to put me over so I'm just going to say I was at intake which was 650 calories.
I don't really know what to post today. I'm kind of at a loss for words because all I did yesterday was literally ate breakfast then stayed in bed all day. I did homework mostly and cuddled with Aaron. It was pretty unproductive, so today I'm going outside with some friends because it's really nice and we're going to have a homework session in the meadow right next to the dining hall. Plus I'm going to try to get a tan. It takes a lot for me to tan so I don't think I'll see much progress. Haha.
Well you know me, I'll keep you all posted.

Dang! Now I'm up to 27 followers! That's 3 new followers in the past, what, 5 days? My newest one is Jennie. You guys should check out her blog. She's just starting up a new one after her last one was discovered so go show her some love. ♥
So this fast wasn't as successful as the last one. Pretty much all I did was go all day without eating until dinnertime. The last fast I did was 36.5 hours. This one was 19.5 hours. I went from last night at 9 pm to today around 4:30 pm. Meh. Food was under limit. I had a slice of pumpkin pie (200 cal), a hot dog (190 cal), some tortilla chips (50 cal), 8 oz of root beer (100 cal), and 2 pork ribs (140 cal) for a total of 680 calories out of the 700 I was allowed. Looking back they don't look like very healthy foods, but my explanation is down there. vvv
For some reason I just felt really good about myself today. Obviously eating all that food has made me feel a little bloated, but before that I was pretty good. I went out tanning (and unfortunately christy, I did get a slight sunburn) with some friends and just had a good time. I put on a bandeau I hadn't worn in two years and even with the top clasped as tight as it would go it was still a little big. I'm feeling better about my body and I just want it to keep going. If I feel like this at 127 I can only image how ecstatic I'll feel at 118. I'm walking taller, fitting into my clothes better, and my mood is up a lot more from spring break. It was a very good day.

Rainy Little Weekend
I thought about waiting until tomorrow to write another post - homework and such that needs to be done - but I've been in a procrastinating mood for the past four hours or so and thought I'd ramble about my day. =)
First off it's been raining all day. Bummer...I had to walk to the library to get some books for my essay on Invasion of the Body Snatchers and it was not fun. Other than that I've been in the dorm building all day (save for meal times) doing laundry, taking a shower, reading, pretty much anything that's not writing my essay, although I did open one of the books I checked out to gather source material. Such an exciting day right?
Food intake wasn't bad for not going to the gym. I had half a bagel with butter (100 cal), 5 small slices of cantaloupe (45 cal), and a serving of cinnamon toasters cereal with 2% milk (190 cal) for breakfast. Total: 335 calories. Lunch was skipped and by dinner my stomach was growling pretty loudly, but the food sucked. I ended up with two small cooked potatoes, you know, those pink-ish kind (105 cal), 12 snow peas sauteed in some sweet/spicy sauce (50 cal), 1/4 of a cup of egg salad (75 cal), 1/4 of a cup of tuna salad (60 cal), a few pieces of celery that amounted to maybe 3 calories tops, and half a slice of french bread (35 cal). Dinner total: 325 calories. Grand total: 660 calories. Not...bad. I wish I could have gone to the gym though and gotten it down to something like 150. Oh well, I'll have to wait until Tuesday.

Homework Day!
Hey girlies. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Thank you for all the comments to yesterday's post, I really appreciated them (it's nice to know when we all reach our goal weights we'll be all over the place in giant sweaters ^_^). And a big congrats to those who reached their own mini goals over the weekend! =)
Sadly I couldn't go to the gym today due to massive amounts of homework (and it's also closed tomorrow for the holiday, looks like I'm sticking to restricting until Tuesday). I have 200 pages in a book, 40 pages in a chapter, and dozens of pages in articles to read for classes by Tuesday and Wednesday. Plus I have a film essay due in two weeks. We have to analyze a film's form in relation to its ideology. Any suggestions? I was thinking about doing a film like American Beauty or The Shawshank Redemption. They're both high on my favorite movie list.
Anyway I only went to the dining hall twice today. Fortunately there wasn't much there that I wanted, so I think I ate. For lunch I had about 150 cal worth of mac-n-cheese. It was baked but I put all the breading to the side (it didn't taste very good anyway). I also had a small salad with a few slices of cucumber and 1/2 tbsp of cesar dressing (45 cal) and about 4 oz of oatmeal with brown sugar (115 cal) for a lunch total of 310 calories. Dinner was slightly worse. I had another salad (medium sized) with 1/2 tbsp sunflower seeds, 2 pieces of baby corn, some slices of cucumber, 3/4 tbsp feta cheese, and 1.25 tbsp ranch (160 cal), a small slice of cheese pizza (150 cal), and a small slice of apple, cranberry, and strawberry pie (250 cal) for a dinner total of 560 calories, which means my grand total is 870 calories. Ugh, not what I wanted today but what can you do? I always feel like I eat more when it's rainy outside.
But on to prettier thing, like thinspo!

Birthday Sushi, Essays, Wednesday, Blah...
So today was a very average day. I woke up, went to class at 8 am, got some grub, went to class again, hit the gym, and have been procrastinating on my essay...still. I do have some brainstorming notes and a thesis, and it is only a 3-4 page paper, I'm just convinced it's going to be so easy I'll be able to pop out A+ work two hours before section. Ha! I have until 1 am to get the rough draft over and will be working another 3 hours tomorrow to polish it. Not too hard if you ask me.
I'm really going to have to be watching what I eat for the next two days because my friend's birthday is this Friday and we're going out to sushi that night. I love sushi, so you can all bet I'll be eating a ton of it, so no food for me that day (until dinner/party time of course). For practice today I tried keeping total calories under what they were yesterday (including workout). This is what I got:
Breakfast was just ok. I had 1/2 of a bagel with a smidgen of butter (100 cal), 10 grapes (35 cal), and 3/4 serving of cocoa puffs with 2 oz. of milk (100 cal) for a breakfast total of 235 calories. I tried not to eat lunch but I was in a rather happy mood so I ate sparsely. I didn't finish my small salad with Cesar dressing, so that came to 50 calories or so. Besides that I had a few bites of this chicken and rice soup because I really wanted the meat (45 cal). So lunch was 95 calories. Then I was being bad after my workout (-510 calories) and had a granola bar (100 cal) and a 100 calorie pack of Cheetos for 200 calories' worth of snack food. So all in all I had a 530 intake of food for a grand total of 20 calories with exercise. Funny, I should be happier. I did lose half a pound (once I reach my next goal weight I'll be sure to start posting regular weigh ins), but I feel like I ate more than that. Hm...strange.
Well, that essay ain't gonna write itself, so here's a little thinspo to keep you company:
